The Daniela Ruggiero Scholarship Fund
Since the fund begun in 2013 it has supported many Jason Theatre School pupils in their dance journey.
Over 80 pupils now benefit from Daniela’s Dance – a weekly jazz class that the charity funds. This is a wonderful opportunity for the children to have, giving them the chance to experience lots of different dance styles.
Our senior pupils receive funding towards their first pair of pointe shoes.
Senior pupils who have dedicated many years to dance benefit from a subsided ISTD dance examination fee once they reach Grade 6 and above.
Our Year 5 pupils have a wonderful opportunity to perform in the local pantomime and the fund pays for their costumes.
The fund contributed towards beautiful tutus for our last Let Us Entertain You performance.
Some of our students are given the opportunity to perform on a West End stage with Mardi Gras Productions. Both the rehearsals and costumes are free for our student thanks to the fund.
We have been delighted to be able to offer Street Dance workshops to our pupils which was performed in our last show.
Physiotherapy consultations are offered through the fund.
For those experiencing times of financial difficulties, the fund is able to offer support.
The Jason Theatre School has been able to purchase a PA system for our annual Awards Day thanks to the fund.
We know that Daniela would be proud to be helping so many of our Jason Theatre School pupils and we think of her everyday.
It is thanks to the Ruggiero Family and all their courage and commitment that the fund has grown from strength to strength.
We hope that with your help we can continue to fundraise for this wonderful charity and support our stars of the future.
